Why am I tall

Why am I tall while everyone is short?

Do I have a purpose for this overwhelming stature?

Could it be I wasn’t supposed to be this tall but stop and realize

My height isn’t what matters but what I do with this.

Why Am I tall, does it have to be so different?

I am the same as you but just a little bit taller.

Please don’t look away because I’m a freak of nature, I didn’t ask to be this tall

I hurt and I cry the same as you, but my tears are a bit heavier falling from cheeks.

If ever there was a time to smile, rest assured I’ll smile beside you.

If but to ask I’d block the sun beating down on your face

I’m tall because I’m the protector of those that cant for themselves.

Why am I tall while everyone is short?

 It’s simple, I am tall for the reason you are short, to help and guide those when they cannot.
